OUR VISION
Many of the biggest problems our world faces - from climate change, to global poverty, to inequality - can feel so huge that it's easy to want to close our eyes and turn away.
However, sport lets us see that there is another way forward. It's the arena in which athletes and spectators come together and dare to have dreams, confront fears and push boundaries in the pursuit of a common goal - even when that goal seems unachievable.
It's for this reason that we founded Athletes of the World, an organisation driven to unlock the power of every athlete to be an advocate for change and progress in the face of our world's greatest challenges.
Our vision is of a united world that is brave enough to care about the biggest global challenges, and empowered enough to take action in the face of them.

There are many athletes who already want to use their platform to make a difference to issues beyond their sport. If this is you, we're here to support you - formulating campaigns and collaborating with every athlete who wants to use their voice for good.
To expand the power of athletes
Whether you've already spoken out on issues you care about, or have never really considered it, all of us can worry that we don't have enough knowledge to use our voice, or that if we do speak we'll be called hypocrites. Whatever your experience, we're creating training and resources to support athletes as confident, effective advocates for change.
